Maker Faire Rome 2015

I was invited to partner with Atmel again, this time at Maker Faire Rome. I was thrilled to see this beautiful city again!

The City of Rome is very invested in the Maker Faire. All around the city, we could see advertisements for this very popular event.

We found this advertisement walking around the city.

Also, spotted in the subways

We were able to squeeze in a little sightseeing, as well. The piazzas were buzzing with activity.

My dad and I in Piazza del Popolo

Maker Faire Rome was held in a new location this year, Sapienza Universita di Roma.

A quiet moment of coding before the Faire opens...

My Maker pal, Cesare Cacitti who invented a 3D printer, stopped by.

I debuted my B & W Photo Booth in Rome. I was very happy that Flavia De Leonardo was our Italian translator! She was very helpful in explaining the intricacies of the Photo Booth.

Seeing themselves on a big 32 inch screen was all the excitement the kids needed!

It was a huge crowd! There were over 600 inventions at the Maker Faire, and over 100,000 visitors.

It is definitely the selfie generation

But, the photo printer was fun for all ages!

I am so fortunate to partner with Atmel, once again. Their team handled all the myriad of details with ease, and really helped me put my best foot forward. Their mentorship and friendship mean so much to me.

With my engineering mentor, Bob Martin from Atmel

The marketing Dream Team: Donna Castillo (Atmel), Chris Garcia (CGESMarketing), and Michelle Ramos (Atmel).

Arrivederci, Roma!
