World Maker Faire, New York City '14

Queens, New York

September 20-21, 2014

I was asked to be on a panel discussion at World Maker Faire in NYC with some great people that I admire: Bob Martin, chief roboticist at Atmel, Dan Ujvari, Senior Field Application Engineer, Massimo Banzi, CEO of Arduino, and  Ayah Bdeir, CEO of littlebits.  The topic was "Curiosity, Imagination, and Motivation - The Natural Inclinations of Young Makers."

Atmel also invited me to be a Maker in their booth at the World Maker Faire, at the New York Hall of Science, in Queens.  I debuted my new Social Android project, along with the Qtechknow Olympics that I showed at the White House Maker Faire.  I was interviewed by Make, Atmel, and Hackaday!
It was great to see Massimo Banzi again, co-founder of Arduino, and to explain my projects, as well as to meet new friends .
Maker Faires are also great for spending time with my mentors, such as Bob, a senior engineer from Atmel.
I also met some kids that had been following me on the internet!
Thanks for helping, Dad!

Thanks to Sander Arts, Donna Castillo, Bob Martin, and all the great Atmel team for a great MFNY!!!
