I was invited to the first - ever White House Maker Faire, hosted by President Obama at the White House! It was amazing - I got to meet many cool people and see many makers!
I was sponsored by Atmel to go to the White House, and SparkFun sponsored the hardware I used in the project! A big thanks to them, especially Sander Arts, Donna Castillo, Artie Beavis, Derek Runberg, Jeff Branson, and Nathan Seidle!
I was awarded a Maker of Merit ribbon by Sherry Huss, for my booth of the Qtechknow Robot Obstacle Course!
I got to meet will.i.am and Bill Nye the Science Guy with Sander Arts!
I showed Yancey, the CEO of Kickstarter, my hardware project, coming soon on Kickstarter later this year!
Joey was there, too!
I also met Nirvan Mullick from Caine's Arcade, and he gave me a fun pass! If you haven't seen Caine's inspiring video, watch it below:
Overall, I had the best time at the first White House Maker Faire, I hope I can go again next year!
